This system comes with Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium and 8GB DDR3 RAM. A 500GB hard drive and DVD/CD multi-drive are also included with this set up. This is an amazing system for the money. The price might be mid-level, but the performance is definitely high end. However, great can be turned into greater with a few upgrades. Consider upgrading the RAM from 8GB to 12 or 16Gb and upgrade the hard drive to 750GB for space. One of the best features of this laptop is the ability to integrate 2 hard drives in the same computer. Consider upgrading to a second hard drive for just $150 to give you a full TB of hard drive space. Consider upgrading to the Blu-Ray player instead of the standard DVD for a full-fledged media center and adding the 3-year warranty for parts replacement.
