The BetaForce SE55 is a mid level gaming laptop that can deliver maximum performance. This system comes with an Intel Core i7 2670QM 2.2 GHz Turbo Mode Quad Core processor and an AMD Radeon HD 6990M 2GB video card. These two together make the system worth the while. The computer uses a stock standard thermal compound and 8Gb of DDR3 RAM. The system comes with a 500GB hard drive and a Windows 7 key. A DVD/CD drive is standard along with an 802.11B+G_N Wi-Fi Bluetooth Combo Card.

 

At first glance, this mid level gaming laptop is pretty great. Add a few upgrades and you have a computer that will handle anything you throw at it. Upgrading the hard drive to 750GB and the RAM to 12GB will easily extend your laptop to the high end. For $150 it might be wise to upgrade from a 1-year warranty to 3 years just to have your basses covered. The IC Diamond Thermal Compound is an upgrade that you will probably want to take advantage of since it is only $25. Additional power supplies and an additional battery pack will save you the headaches associated with mobile gaming. The stock parts on this system are easily worth the money, but consider some of these upgrades for longevity.
